This album is the work of Miles Nowlin and his long time friend and musical partner Pete Fields. On Armadillo Tracks Pete and Miles, with the help of Miles' band Rooster Crow, reunited to record songs old and new during the mind numbingly cold winter of 2017. What resulted is a record of intimate backwoods folk songs and knock-down downtown rockers. In addition to some familiar Slow Motion Cowboys songs the album also features two versions of Miles' historically based ballad, The Texian.
